Your Tasks:
- Development and implementation of international sales strategies in the Marine/Defense sector, considering country-specific requirements, customer needs, and revenue targets across Europe.
- Building and maintaining strong internal and external networks to effectively bring together experts and resources throughout the sales process – both nationally and internationally.
- Global market and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities in the shipbuilding and naval defense sectors.
- Coordination of international teams (onsite and virtual) to develop customer segmentations, presentations, and initiatives aimed at acquiring potential customers and projects.
- Ensuring efficient decision-making throughout the sales process based on thorough analyses, research, and professional internal and external communication.
- Acting as the main point of contact for design and piping departments as well as the buying centers of global accounts within the Marine/Defense segment.
- Structured collaboration with international sales organizations, both in field and inside sales.
- Providing product and system support for global accounts in close cooperation with national sales organizations and the headquarters.
- Further development and coordination of customer retention initiatives, technical seminars, and workshops to strengthen customer relationships.
- Representing the company at maritime conferences and trade fairs and participating in committees when required, in alignment with product management.
Your Profil:
- Completed technical or engineering degree – alternatively, advanced training as a master craftsman or technician.
- Solid business management knowledge combined with a strong understanding of complex technical processes.
- Several years of professional experience in international key account management, ideally within an industrial environment.
- Established network in the naval shipbuilding sector, preferably with suppliers in the fields of mechanics, propulsion, or electronics.
- Strong expertise in market development, business growth, and sales.
- High level of strategic and planning competence with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proficient in standard MS Office applications.
- Fluent English skills (spoken and written); French language skills are an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, paired with initiative, accountability, and a strong commitment to quality.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities with a strong focus on long-term customer retention.
