JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Project Assistant to support IT project execution through administrative and organizational tasks. This role involves assisting project managers, tracking progress, maintaining documentation, and coordinating communication between teams.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in project coordination, resource planning, and reporting while ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in IT project management within a dynamic environment.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION DETALS

Responsibilities

  • Support the organizational and administrative management of IT projects, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Assist in the technical and organizational planning and implementation of projects throughout all phases, including documentation and tracking.
  • Help ensure compliance with budget and timeline targets by supporting project management activities.
  • Facilitate the coordination of sub-project managers, project teams, and external service providers.
  • Assist in defining the test scope for functional, integration, and deployment testing in software projects.
  • Support the coordination of internal technical and developer resources to align project needs with available expertise.
  • Prepare regular project reports for steering committees and other stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support for discussions and negotiations at professional and management levels.
  • Contribute to consulting and conceptual work in developing new IT solutions, including support in profitability calculations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Availability to work a 40-hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer.
  • Problem-solving and communication.

Education & Experience 

  • Enrolled in or completed Bachelor's/Master's in IT, Business Management, Economics

Compensation: 

  • Base: $22-$25 hourly (CO), based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
