JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing projects. The role includes the coordination of teams consisting of professionals. In addition, it is also the responsibility to ensure that project goal such as time, scope, and budget are achieved.
JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the holistic organizational and administrative management of IT projects
- Technical and organizational planning and implementation of projects during all project phases incl. control and documentation
- Take over project management and ensure compliance with budget and time targets
- Control of sub-project managers, project teams, and external service providers
- Definition of the test scope in functional, integration, and deployment testing for software projects
- Coordination of internal technical and developer resources
- Regular project reporting to the responsible steering committees
- Confident interaction at professional and management levels to manage complex discussion and negotiation situations.
- Consulting and conception in the development of new IT solutions incl. their profitability calculation
Other
- Attends meetings as required and/or assigned
- Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
- Will be required to travel up to 25% of the time
- Complies with the safety rules and guidelines
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- At least 3 years of experience in managing international IT projects
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience in the application of project management methods, standards, and tools
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- Completed studies in the field of business informatics or a comparable subject area
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Total Rewards Package:
Compensation
- Base: $89,000 to $97,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus or Commission: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
