IT Service Delivery Manager

Job Description Summary

The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for coordinating and maintaining customer and vendor relationships.  This role includes managing projects, fixing reliability issues, tracking service metrics.  The Service Delivery Manager may also perform technical and administrative task.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate with external service providers during the implementation phase up to commissioning and handover to regular operations.
  • Coordinate the resolution of major incidents and ensure the flow of procedures and communication within the relevant departments.
  • Close cooperation with other IT departments and support of international IT projects in order to develop holistic solutions.
  • Plan, design and develop cloud and on-premise data center infrastructures.
  • Responsibility for the operational management of the internally and externally operated data centers.
  • Provide project management, development, and support for Infrastructure related improvements.
  • Analyze hardware, software and network needs of the organization and work with business units to fulfill those needs.
  • Must be a self- starter, detail oriented, able to interact professionally with all levels of the organization, possess excellent communication skills and foster positive interactions with customers.
  • Ability to learn and utilize Lean Six Sigma as a continuous improvement methodology to eliminate waste, improve accuracy and build quality into processes and solutions.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
  • Routine in working with distributed IT organizations and virtual teams.
  • Works flexible hours in order to provide maintenance, emergency support and backup for teammates after hours and on weekends.
  • Will be required to travel up to 25% of the time.

 

What We're Looking For:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal / customer service skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementations in relevant MS Azure, MS Windows Server and Datacenter engineering, SD-WAN, and LAN/WAN administration
  • Experience with a minimum of three end-to-end Cloud Migration projects or Datacenter Migration projects as a functional team lead or senior consultant
  • The role expects a minimum of 2 years of experience with the ServiceNow ITIL framework
  • Preferred experience with OpenSystems, Zscaler, CheckPoint, and Cisco Systems Catalyst
  • The success in this role depends on the problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

  • 5+ years of practical experience as an application consultant in the area of SAP Basis
  • Completed studies in computer science, alternatively training as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification
  • 5+ years of professional experience in data center operation, server infrastructure, backup and monitoring services 
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the operational IT service provider and service provider environment

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation

  • Base: $108,000 to $120,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
  • Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
