The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize marketing automation efforts, streamline processes, and enhance customer engagement. This role involving managing marketing automation platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and analyzing data to drive growth and drive ROI.

Responsibilities

Develops and manages marketing automation strategies and campaigns to drive engagement and lead generation.

Oversees the implementation, execution, and tracking of automated marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

Maintains and optimizes the marketing database, email marketing campaigns, and lead generation processes.

Utilizes data analytics to measure, report, and optimize campaign performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Provides guidance on platform utilization to maximize adoption and effectiveness across the organization.

Works closely with the content, design, sales, and data teams to align marketing automation initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.

Collaborates with leadership to enhance lead management and automation, ensuring seamless distribution and tracking of leads with the sales team.

Generates and maintains reports and dashboards across platforms such as Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Adobe, and Sprout Social to measure marketing performance.

Communicates marketing performance insights to stakeholders across marketing, product, sales, and finance, fostering data-driven decision-making.

Evaluates campaign performance and recommend improvements to automation processes, ensuring optimal lead nurturing, engagement, and conversion.

Stays informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep marketing automation strategies ahead of the competition.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficient in the use of common office equipment and software – including: computers, printers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint

Advanced proficiency in Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement).

Technical proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, with familiarity in HTML.

Proven expertise in personalization, optimization, and marketing automation strategies, with a deep understanding of data and systems.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, effectively collaborating with internal teams and event organizers

Builds and maintains positive, productive relationships within and across teams, customers, and vendors

Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders and tactfully exercise influence across the organization

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field required

3-5 years of related professional experience required
-
Previous professional experience in marketing automation required
-
Previous professional experience using analytics platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc. preferred

Total Rewards Package:
Compensation
- Base: $85,000 to $105,500 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
