The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for providing support and back up for all benefit and leave administration. The coordinator will serve as front-line for employees and managers with inquiries in benefit specific items. They must be familiar with basic benefit administration.

Responsibilities
- The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for providing support and back up for all benefit and leave administration. The coordinator will serve as front-line for employees and managers with inquiries in benefit specific items. They must be familiar with basic benefit administration.
- Assist with the annual benefit renewal process, preparing open enrollment launch materials, etc. Act as the point of contact for all open enrollment related questions.
- Advise employees and respond to benefit related questions and claim issues. Ensure a timely resolution of any concerns raised by employees and/or partners.
- Administer Viega’s Leave of Absence process in conjunction with the Benefits Manager and the Payroll lead/coordinator.
- Maintain and drive multiple aspects of our wellbeing program in partnership with the Benefits Manager through Virgin Pulse.
- Assist with preparing and processing payments for Payroll and Benefits invoices following policy.
- Present at new hire orientation for benefits and payroll topics and complete I-9s.
- Assist and backup other members of the People Team as needed.
- Adhere to payroll and benefit procedures and legal requirements surrounding payroll, benefits and employment law.
- Support other benefits and payroll-related special projects, as required.
- Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
- May be required to travel up to 10% of the time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting various deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts.
- Strong analytical skills, exercise some autonomy and independent judgment and problem-solving skills with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Rigorous attention to detail and highly organized, with a high degree of accuracy and follow-up.
- Commitment to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work in team environment, possessing a sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments.
- Ability to work with discretion, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- Associates degree in Accounting or Human Resources, preferred
- 2+ years experience working in Payroll, Benefits field required
- 2+ years experience with leave of absence administration required
- Experience in SuccessFactors (SAP), ADP Workforce Now and eTime or preferred
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Location
The role is located in our Broomfield, Colorado office and is hybrid with onsite 2-3 days a week.
Total Rewards Package:
Compensation
- Base: $55,000 to $72,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus or Commission: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
