Talent Development Specialist

The Talent Development Specialist is a member of Viegas Careers Academy Team, a department within Human Resources that oversees corporate learning and development programs for leadership, management and employee performance improvement.


To support the ongoing needs of our fast-paced, dispersed and growing organization, the Talent Development Specialist will collaborate closely with the entire HR team, as well as technical subject matter experts and other Viega colleagues. This role requires a customer-focused, highly motivated, and relationship-building talent development specialist who is responsible for design and delivery of high-quality programs that engage, align, inform, and inspire employees in support of business strategy, goals, and initiatives.  


This role requires a program specialist who can build tools and content for leaders, coaching and facilitating these programs. The Talent Development Specialist needs a working knowledge of HR software and information systems. They must handle confidential and non-routine information and explain relevant HR policy when necessary.



Performance Management

Manage the administration of the Performance Management and Calibration process in SuccessFactors.

Develop and/or update training materials and content to provide effective upskilling for the HR, people leader and employee community, as required


Talent Management & Succession Planning

Develop and manage the Talent Assessment & Succession Planning process by supporting the HR team with Success Factors administration and additional coordination activities

Develop and/or update training materials and content to provide effective upskilling for the HR, people leader and employee community, as required.


Develop and manage the Onboarding program

Develop and manage D&I programs



Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience


BS/BA in human resources, training and development, organization development, I/O Psychology or a related field required.

          Minimum of 3-5 years experience working with other HR systems such as Talent and Performance Management systems (Success Factors preferred), Mentoring systems, etc. required

          Prior experience with talent assessment and succession planning is preferred.

          Prior experience accessing information in SAP a plus.

          Experience in a large, global organization is preferred.

          Demonstrated customer orientation and detail-orientation, commitment to flawless execution.
