Accounting Coordinator

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and providing ongoing support for accounting projects with a focus on system administration. System administration would include corporate credit card program, Concur expense/travel and Esker. Provides support for all 

department functions, including risk management, treasury, insurance, fleet management, accounts 

payable, and accounts receivable; assists with tracking and reporting metrics and KPls. 



  • Corporate credit card administration: card issuance, credit limit adjustments, card user admin, processing monthly statements, and past due monitoring. 
  • Monthly credit card reconciliation. 
  • Concur Travel and Expense administration:  setting up new users, cost center maintenance, user administration, user questions and communication.  
  • Concur Travel and Expense reporting. 
  • Esker system administration and maintenance.  
  • Provides departmental support on various projects, process and procedure documentation, team collaboration and general administrative support. 
  • Prepares monthly reports as needed, including department metrics and KPI’s.  
  • Assists Accounting group with month end close tasks. 
  • Assists with audit coordination.  
  • Assists with annual renewal applications. 
  • Assists with bi-annual risk management updates, coordinating with responsible parties. 
  • Attends meetings as required and/or assigned 
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned 
  • Will be required to travel up to 10% of the time 



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Ability to learn SAP, Esker, Concur  
  • Knowledge of computer software including Internet Explorer and other web browsers, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, PowerPoint, Access and In Design 
  • Knowledge of Concur or similar; expense and travel management system 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within and outside the organization 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • AND 1-3 years of previous administration experience.
