Job Description Summary

The Talent & Transformation Specialist supports company-wide change initiatives primarily focused on driving transformation at Viega. We are growing quickly, and this role will support our people in that growth journey. The role is accountable for supporting change and communications work that supports key business initiatives and talent development. The Talent & Transformation Specialist will be influential across all levels at Viega, providing support to employees to help them instill change within their teams, and directly supporting project teams where change management is critical.

 

Job Description Details

  • Support the development and execution of change management plans across Viega ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Execute all phases of change management work; create and execute change plans, readiness assessments, stakeholder analyses, engagement, and communication plans
  • Create and deploy tools which support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
  • Anticipate risks to adoption and address stakeholder resistance
  • Develops and implements talent management programs including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development that are aligned with Viega’s strategies
  • Designs and produces various types of trainings and develops materials
  • Engage broadly across the organization to create content, facilitate workshops, training programs, special projects, programs, and initiatives
  • Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications
  • Support internal communications activities creating a consistent tone for employee communications
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Will be required to travel up to 10% of the time.

 

Required Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and team/project management skills with demonstrated ability to concurrently manage multiple projects, plan and prioritize effectively
  • Solid, hands-on experience in organizational change management approaches and tools, including communications and socialization, stakeholder identification, analysis and engagement, leadership and stakeholder alignment, workforce engagement and empowerment, managing resistance, cultural transformation, and sustainment
  • Experience in supporting organization talent development, including learning and development, succession planning, performance management, and soft skills training
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to create compelling content through multiple channels for varied internal audiences
  • Ability to work within a virtual, fast paced and dynamically changing environment. High level of energy, sense of urgency, and passion for building personal and organizational change capability.
  • Ability to engage and work effectively at all levels in the organization and with other third parties
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with adaptability to work with people from all areas of the business; builds and maintains highly effective working relationships; has a comprehensive and well-developed network. Facilitation, coaching, mentoring and team leadership skills
  • Ability to break down complex challenges, identify root causes, and structure targeted recommendations.
  • Excellent active listening and communications skills with a demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely
  • Ability to understand business strategy and translate to people-oriented plans; strong business acumen
  • Analytical mindset, critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Ability to demonstrate overall flexibility, adaptability, balance and well-rounded knowledge based within all facets of role.
  • Proven experience supporting SAP SuccessFactors Talent Management Suite

 

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Relevant project and change management certifications preferred
  • 3-5 years experience with SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System and other talent modules or similar preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in learning and development supporting talent development
  • 3-5 years experience in consulting, leadership, communications, change management and organizational effectiveness supporting process, people, technology transformation initiatives
