JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Associate Technical Sales Rep is responsible for providing technical and sales support for mechanical and plumbing contractors for all product lines within the commercial and residential market segment. Experience in radiant systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

 

  • Supports regional team in opportunity management and general project management utilizing tools like Salesforce.
  • Organize and coordinate trainings in Nashua and Broomfield with regional team members and wholesalers
  • Coordinates regional marketing and business development initiatives i.e. sales blitzes, Viega van schedule.
  • Provides back up support for DMs when they are unavailable due to vacations or other commitments
  • Accountable for product trainings, demonstrations, counter days, trade shows, and lead management.  
  • Support wholesalers to maintain inventories. 
  • Manage and track the distribution of loaner tools. 
  • Executes regional and corporate objectives.  
  • Secure new business relationships and support current customers. 
  • Responsibility for maintaining accurate reporting and metrics. 
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned. 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and relationship building skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, and public speaking. 
  • Self-motivated; able to function autonomously and as a team player  
  • Ability to interpret and forecast changes in wholesaler buying patterns and product requirements 
  • Experience in Radiant systems highly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP and CRM. 

 

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required 
  • College Degree strongly preferred  
  • 1-2 years hands-on plumbing experience required preferably in radiant heating. 
  • Valid and Active Driver’s License required 
  • May be required to travel up to 60% of the time. 

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
