JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Lead, Regional Sales is responsible for all aspects of leading an assigned sub-region, including direct responsibility for driving new business and leading a professional sales team. This individual will develop and implement sales strategies in alignment with the regional sales plan. This role will involve the discovery and conversion of new business opportunities through the effective use of available resources to achieve growth targets.
JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
- Discover and convert new business opportunities that align with the regional growth requirements.
- Manage personal KPIs for assigned district in addition to leading assigned team.
- Professionally develop direct reports by driving high performance.
- Ensure daily work aligns with an overall regional sales plan.
- Support pipeline management and increase demand for products in assigned areas.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key customers and top wholesale partners.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the assigned region to achieve budget; implement plans for strategic accounts within specified regions.
- Track regional KPI’s and other performance metrics; including activities in ViegaForce.
- Meets regularly with team to review goals, strategies, and prospects; manages overall performance and provides direction and objective coaching.
- Conduct sales calls and deliver professional presentations to key targets, including but not limited to cross-functional teams, architects, wholesale distributors, builders, developers, facility engineers, plant managers, code officials, educators, contractors, etc. utilizing appropriate resources.
- Close coordination of regional efforts with sales leadership & other Viega departments.
- Communication of sales results, programs & processes.
- Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
- Will be required to travel up to 25% of the time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce
- Highly advanced selling skills

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred
- 4-6 years of progressive sales experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Total Rewards Package:
Compensation
- Base: $77,000.00 to $109,000.00 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
