As an SAP Basis Team Lead (m/f/d), you will take on the technical leadership of our SAP Basis team while also being actively involved in day-to-day operations. You will contribute your expertise to technical topics and work closely with our architects to drive the further development of our SAP architecture. 

 

Your tasks

  • Technical leadership and development of the SAP Basis team, including coaching and mentoring of employees

  • Hands-on involvement in the administration and operation of our SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Solution Manager) 

  • Responsibility for the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP solutions in complex system landscapes, in collaboration with internal and external partners

  • Managing and overseeing large-scale SAP projects, including migrations, upgrades, and implementations 

  • Ensuring system availability, performance, and security in close cooperation with internal and external partners

  • Further development of the SAP strategy and optimization of existing processes in close collaboration with architects and business departments

  • Coordination and collaboration with international teams and external service providers

  • Supporting audits, compliance reviews, and security requirements

 

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration, ideally within large, complex system landscapes 

  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing SAP projects 

  • Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, including database and operating system expertise 

  • A strong hands-on mentality and willingness to actively contribute to technical challenges

  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., SAP BTP, Azure, AWS) is an advantage

  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

  • Willingness to travel frequently if residing outside of Attendorn, Germany and the surrounding area
