JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Apprentice Program will gain hands on experience in Plastics, Metals, Maintenance & Tool Shop with functional work experience while attending related instruction courses and attending class regularly. It is a 3 year program with a 5 year commitment.
JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
- First year you will rotate between Plastics, Metals, Maintenance & Tool Shop to learn each area as a basic Operator.
- Second year you will be able to pick the area you are most interested in.
- You will need to work a minimum of 30 hours in order to earn benefits.
- Hours of work can be flexible based on class and test schedules.
- Will attend required outside classes on a regular basis thru Hutchinson Community College.
- Will maintain acceptable GPA.
- Once you complete the 3 years school and apprentice rotation, you will be eligible to work your way into a Process Technician to complete your last 2 years.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong verbal, written communication skills, analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
- Desire to learn and be exposed to a manufacturing environment.
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- High School Diploma and/or GED
