JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Inspector I is responsible for performing quality inspections of manufactured products; ensuring product quality meets company’s regulations and standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
Quality Inspection
- Performs quality inspections for both dimensional and cosmetic checks of manufactured products; ensures products quality meets company’s regulations and standards; enters dimensional and cosmetic data into Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) software utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems.
- Measures dimensions of products to verify conformation to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers, etc.
- Inspects the quality of raw materials received from suppliers utilizing visual checks and Incoming Goods Control (IGC) module.
Record Keeping and Reporting
- Records inspection or tests data such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded; marks items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.
- Documents inspection results utilizing written reports and electronic data entry; maintain necessary files and records for quality control inspections and other related documentation.
- Reports non-conformance issues to proper personnel; communicates with various personnel issues relating to quality.

- Attends meetings as required or assigned.
- Maintains a clean work environment.
- Performs related duties as required or assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of computer software Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and Access
- Ability to be detail oriented in terms of evaluating documenting and adhering to specified procedures
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining high quality control
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to perform with superior service, reflecting a positive company image while sustaining a positive attitude with those you interact with; always going above and beyond to help others out, regardless of their position or department.
- Ability to adhere to the highest standards of quality while continually performing at the highest possible level.
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Total Rewards Package:
Compensation
- Base: $20 - $22 hourly, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
