JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements. Ensures that project objectives are completed on time and within budget, establishes and reports on project status and goals, coordinates with all partners and customers. Supports team members and ensures all project responsibilities are met.
What You'll Do:
Technical Responsibilities
- Leads and participates in long and short term planning efforts.
- Finds and qualifies new vendors and technologies.
- Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
- Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
- Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

What We're Looking For:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication skills to oversee diverse teams of people - provide clear instructions, motivate, and effectively manage the team’s performance.
- Proficient time management skills.
- Ability to analyze, prioritize, assess and problem solve technical requirements.
- Strong documentation skills, with particular skills in technical writing.
- Ability to lead diverse teams of individuals from different disciplines.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, processes and procedures.
- Good understanding of OSHA and ergonomic standards and the ability to implement those requirements into the project plans.
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Technology
- 10+ years hands-on Engineering experience
- 7+ years of Project Management experience
- OR
- Master’s Degree

Total Rewards Package:
Compensation
- Base: $91,105.60 - $125,270.20 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
