JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Apprentice (Production) will gain hands on experience with functional work experience while attending related instruction courses and attending class regularly. Other arrangements as per signed Apprenticeship Agreement.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

Production

• Will be assigned to a production position for up to 40 hours per week – depending on class schedule and individual circumstances.  Reliability Program will be in effect.
• Will perform the assigned production duties to the best of your ability, maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
• May be assigned to special projects as need arises.
• Hours of work may flex based on class and test schedules.
• Shift differential will be applied as appropriate.
• Will assume full time production hours when outside classes are not in session. 

Education

• Will attend required outside classes on a regular basis.
• Will maintain acceptable GPA.
• Other arrangements as per signed Apprenticeship Agreement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong verbal, written communication skills, analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
• Desire to learn and be exposed to a manufacturing environment.

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

• High School Diploma and/or GED
• 0-6 months minimum work experience
• Ability to attend classes and maintain grade requirements.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
