Maintenance Lead - Off Shift

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for prepping/communication maintenance personal for shift needs; fixing equipment both mechanically and electrically to minimize machine downtime. Meet maintenance related KPI goals (UDT%, PM Completion, Maintenance Schedule Adherence and operation KPI’s). Support maintenance leadership and off-shift production leadership on coordination maintenance employees. Provide insight into day-to-day performance and individual mentorship.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leadership
- Continually and proactively demonstrates strong leadership through training and developing other team members. This may require temporary assignments for other shifts.
- Assist in developing and maintaining training procedures.
- Responsible for the overall daily performance of off-shift personnel including safety, quality, and productivity.
- Responsible for communication and meetings representing maintenance department for shift.
- Communicating priority of work performed based on feedback from leadership team.
- Validate maintenance connection work orders for completeness.
Support
- Proficient in Maintenance Tech II and Electronics Tech I – Job Descriptions.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities as needed.
- Communicate with technicians to help with equipment and assist with root cause analysis pertaining to the production process.
- Ability to trouble shoot basic machine malfunctions with controls on equipment.
- Request parts or components for use in repair process; follows up and communicates any delay if the part is unavailable and must be ordered.
- Request tools as needed for employees on shift.
Other
- These duties/responsibilities the person performs are not central to the job or the reason why the position exists or are duties shared with other employees to include, but not limited to, the following; 6S activities, workshops, meetings, cross-functional training, etc.

- May be required to work different shifts as needed.

Job duties as they relate to Hazardous waste.
- Place hazardous waste in satellite accumulation containers.
- Move hazardous waste containers to the appropriate accumulation area.
What We’re Looking for
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of computer programs to pull and complete PM’s and work orders
- Working knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits
- Knowledge of modern test tools and equipment
- Ability to read electronic wiring diagrams and schematics
- Ability to use hand tools for troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to interpret work orders, instructions, blueprints, and/or drawings
- Ability to perform with superior service, reflecting a positive company image while sustaining a positive attitude with those you interact with; always going above and beyond to help others out, regardless of their position or department
- Ability to adhere to the highest standards of quality while continually performing at the highest possible level
- Knowledge of basic functions in Microsoft office suite
- Knowledge on how to run Powered Industrial Trucks
- Knowledge on standard welding techniques and fabrication
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- High School diploma/equivalent
- 7+ years of combined mechanical/electrical maintenance/leadership experience
- Certificates in Industrial Electrical Technology or Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Preferred

Total Rewards Package:
Compensation
- Base: $28.00 - $37.00 hourly, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
