Job Description Summary 

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) team to gain hands-on experience in order management, data analysis, and customer engagement. This early talent program will provide exposure to CRM and ERP systems, VMI order analysis, and reporting optimization, helping to support both customer and Viega goals. The intern will also gain a strong foundation in customer support and inventory management, learning how to analyze data, propose solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 

 

What You'll Do: 

  • Customer Support 
    • Learn to use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools as well as ERP system 
    • Analyze VMI order changes and propose solutions to reduce future changes 
    • Support resolving customer issues 
  • Analysis and Reporting 
    • Perform analytics of VMI data and provide creative solutions to support customer and Viega goals  
    • Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and tools to support a positive customer experience 
    • Assist in optimizing reporting workflows to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround time 
  • Communication and Collaboration 
    • Assist in developing sales and customer presentations, project overviews, and research summaries for internal and external use 
  • Apply academic knowledge to real-world customer partnership and inventory management scenarios 
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned 

 

What We're Looking For: 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Availability to work a 40-hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer

 

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Sales, or a related field at an accredited university  

  • Graduate students, or undergraduate students who have completed at least 3 full years of undergraduate course work preferred

Total Rewards Package 

Compensation 

  • Base: $21.00 - $25.00 hourly, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
